Thursday, February 9, 2012 (Science Fair)

Science fair, a significant competition once a year, proves studends' abilities to understand science. Science is testable explanations about the universe, which includes a wide range of subjects, such as biology, chemistry, and psychology. My friends and I have prepared science fair a long time ago. We have spent so much efforts that we truly hoped to win a prize. honestly, though there weren't great amounts of competitors in biology, most of them were adept in biology. They were awesome in biology and had great academic understandings. Fortunately, the judges appreciated our projects, perhaps. We were really glad that we won a third prize and will have a pizza party next Wednesday. I was joyful that we could win a prize (unbelievably) and compete with great opponents. Thanks to our tutor, Mr. Smart, he did give us some valuable ideas and suggestions. Thanks to every single member in our group, they have made a wonderful job and efforts.

Wednesday, Febhruary 8, 2012 (After School)

Though it's rainy today, my friends and I still go out and buy desserts in order to fill our stomachs before discussing the presentation. We have planned the science fair project during Lunar New Year break and finished the experiments. We distributed the work so we were a little ahead of the others. However, we had different opinions in conclusion. Therefore, we still had to figure out the best way to conclude our experiments. We have made hard efforts in the science fair project and I did truly hope that we could win a prize. It was raining cats and dogs outside, though we might be wet, we had a fun time buying green onion pancakes. We hid under a large tree to avoid from the rain when we waited for the traffic lights. We chatted all the way to the food stand and waited for the green onion pancakes together. It was an interesting time with friends though our jackets were totally wet.

Tuesday, February 7, 2012 (The Lady, or the Tiger After-school Studying)

Since most people didn't pass the Lady, or the Tiger reading passage, we had to stay after school and reread the passage. I didn't know that the after-school studying turned out to become a competition between boys and girl. It was really interesting though I was quiet. I didn't make up hard questions because I thought that the teacher hoped that students could think about every question. Most of my questions began with Why or How., which were opinion questions. Girls dominated the competition with Kara's instructions. Thanks to Kara, girls won the competition easily. I liked to answer hard questions, but I didn't think those questions really helped us to fully understand the passage. Since those questions are made for defeating the opponents, they weren't that useful for helping students to understand the passage deeply. Anyways, it's a fantastic game in which we all enjoy it.

Monday, February 6, 2012 (Dodge ball)

Though I was disappointed by my group member last time, I regain energy because my dear classmate/ friend, CANDY HUANG comes back from Canada!!! I do believe that we are better than her Canadian friends. Furthermore, Chika and Jessica might change from Spanish to PE. Our group gain more powerful members right now. Whoohoo~ Dodge ball is extremely dangerous since people might be head shot, such as me. (a perfect example) If I become stupider tomorrow, please don't blame at me. I find out that dodge ball is interesting because we have to run and hide and throw the ball. We become more active and speedy so we can hit our opponents easier. Dodge ball is truly a challenging game in which we have to do our best and give play to our strength, power.

Sunday, February 5, 2012 (Dream)

I had an most interesting/exciting dream ever last night. Since the dream is still fresh in my memory, I would like to share with everyone. My mom and I sojourned in a gorgeous hotel for few days. We met a mysterious guy called Darwin and Damen who was infirm of purpose. However, we met policemen who seemed to worry about every tourist's safety and they investigated our background information. The hotel displayed the most famous, exquisite necklace, known as the Heart of the Ocean. (Yeah, the one in Titanic) The clay-people, who were flexible and magical, could transform into different shapes and mimic human appearances. They hid among a group of tourists. I once noticed Darwin's supernatural power in which he could slay clay-people. Anyways, he seemed to have secrets. The police soon found a corpse in a room. All the tourists were nervous and panic. Thus, the hotel provided free vanilla-flavored ice cream, punch, and delicious cookies. All the tourists were gathered in the restaurant to enjoy the desserts and calm down themselves. I guessed that some people didn't, though. At night, Damen seemed extremely anxious, but he didn't want to share the vex with us. At midnight, Damen went to the room with a corpse secretly. He put the Heart of the Ocean back on the corpse's neck and apologize. The corpse suddenly arouse from the dead and smiled wanly at Damen. It was a clay-person. Damen was freak out and the corpse explained: Darwin came before you did. He spelled at the corpse and changed it to me. He noticed that someone stole the Heart of the Ocean from the corpse. Therefore, Darwin commanded me to catch the thief. I didn't know that you put your head on the block for me. Haha. Darwin was wrong. He thought that he could control me but I now own the Heart of the Ocean which would give me unlimited power. YOU ARE ALL DEAD. Then I woke up because my mom called me repeatedly. Too bad. I couldn't look at the ending.

Thursday, February 2, 2012 (Cooking Club)

I once joined the cooking club and I had an awesome time with my partners. I missed the teacher and all the great partners. We cooperated well and baked all delicious, tasty desserts. The muffins, cupcakes, chicken, tacos, and bread are my beautiful memory. Thus, I join the advanced cooking club this year. Though I am not familiar with all the new friends, I promise that I can get along well with elder sisters. I can't wait for baking cheese cakes, making French bread, and making new friends. Although I'm the youngest among the mature girls. I'll try to act mature and quiet. That's how people usually survive in a new environment. I'll remain quiet so I won't say some inappropriate words which make others angry. I always know the best moment to shut up my mouth so people won't glare at me. I hope that I can enjoy cooking club for the new semester, create wonderful memory, and undergo awesome experience.

New Students

Since it's a whole new semester, there are lots of new students who transfer to PAS. Once upon a time, I was the new student who couldn't adapt the new environment and had a hard time. Now, I am the old student who is supposed to lead the new students. I truly hope that they won't suffered as I did before. The mischievous eighth graders told me a mean joke today. There's a new Korean student and the guys joke that she is so ugly that she can't find a groom in the future. Thus, the guys match the girl with another guy, Steven. The guys even act like Steven (how Steven flirts with the girl) playfully. It's quite interesting to look at the guys' "performance". They are creative and of course, mean. haha. Talking with the guys never makes me bored because they are always so talkative. Due to their description about the girl, I wonder what does she exactly look like. I bet she's still pretty but the guys are merely joking. The guys are so naughty that I can't believe that they will become freshmen next year. I bet that next year will be more amusing.
